A residential fire that broke out at Purok Pine Tree, Barangay Bata in Bacolod City at around 3:00 a.m. yesterday resulted in injuries to the couple that owned the burning house.
Injured were Angelito Loro, 53-years-old, who suffered multiple burns on his left and right hands, arms, and legs; and his wife, Rebecca Loro, 52-years-old, who sustained a burn on her left hand.
The investigation of the Bureau of Fire Protection in Bacolod City revealed that when the fire broke out, the couple immediately vacated the house. However, the husband went back inside to rescue their daughter.
The parents sustained injuries and are currently undergoing treatment.
Based on the report of the BFP, the said house was totally burnt, leaving an estimated cost of damage to property at P81,000. The house was quickly consumed by fire since it was made of light materials.
No other houses or establishments were affected by the blaze, and the investigation by the authorities to identify the possible cause of the fire is underway.*
