An alleged cadre of the Communist Party of the Philippines – New People’s Army was also apprehended by security forces by virtue of a search warrant for illegal possession of firearms, on April 1 in Canlaon City, Negros Oriental.
Nabbed by the combined security forces of the Canlaon City Police Station, 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, 65th Special Action Force Company of the PNP SAF, Regional Mobile Force Battalion 7 and 62nd Infantry Battalion was Nelfa Sandot Delima, alias Nena, a member of the Central Front Negros 1 and party branch secretary and medical officer in the clustered sitios of Sitios of Anatuling, Matanglad, Brgy Budlasan, Canlaon City, Negros Oriental and Sitios of Arum and Banderahan in Brgy Macagahay, Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental.
According to a report of the 62IB, Delima has a pending arrest warrant for illegal possession of firearms issued on March 25 this year by Guihulngan Regional Trial Court Judge Eric Anthony Dumpilo.*
