The DepEd Cluster Meet Football and Futsal event recently concluded on March 23 at the Bacolod City National High School (BCNHS) Campus.
In Futsal Girls, University of St. La Salle – Integrated School (Area 8) scored three goals against one of BCNHS (Area 7), to earn a spot to the upcoming Palarong Panlalawigan on March 30.
Meanwhile, ANOPSSAI fell to BCNHS with score line of 9-0 in the noon time game, while STI-WNU will battle on the following day for the U-15 Boys category.
The U-13 Boys 11-a-side will be represented by Sum-ag Elementary School (Area 7), after Trinity Christian School conceded two goals in the first half, giving an all-out in the second half but however failed to equalize, with the game ending at 2-0.
DepEd implemented a “winner takes all” format where there is no selection of players. This event is in preparation for the Palarong Pambansa.*
