The Department of Interior and Local Government awarded a Safety Seal to the provincial government of Negros Occidental on November 11, in compliance with the minimum health standards required to contain the COVID-19 transmission.
This was after the Negros Occidental Provincial Capitol passed the on-site inspection and evaluation conducted by representatives of DILG, Bureau of Fire and Protection and Philippine National Police.
DILG provincial director Roselyn Quintana led the conferring of Safety Seal Certificate to the provincial government, which was received by Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson, in the presence of Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz.*
