The six Negrense policemen ordered dismissed from the service by the National Police Commission for grave misconduct and grave irregularities in the performance of duty can still file a motion for reconsideration (MR) on the Napolcom ruling, deputy provincial police spokesperson, /PLt. Abegael Donasco, said yesterday.

Napolcom ordered the dismissal of Police Capt. Allan Reloj, PMSgt. Ricardo Dingcong, PCpl. Nobel Perante, PCpl. Felix Pesales Jr., Patrolman Michael Mondido, and Patrolman Darryl Dormido, all formerly assigned at the Moises Padilla Police Station, in connection with the complaints filed against them by Moises Padilla Mayor Ella Celestina Garcia-Yulo and her husband, Felix Mathias.

Donasco said the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office has yet to receive a copy of the dismissal order.

Reloj, former police chief of Moises Padilla, already retired from the police service, while Dingcong, Perante, and Pesales were no longer assigned at the Moises Padilla PS, while she did not know the whereabouts of Mondido and Dormido, Donasco said.

She said that it will be up to the PNP higher headquarters in Camp Crame to implement the order of Napolcom, through a dismissal order.

Yulo, then vice mayor of Moises Padilla, and her husband, accused the policemen of conducting an illegal checkpoint, performing an unlawful arrest and illegal search and seizure, on their vehicle on Dec. 19, 2017, along Brgy. Crossing Magallon in the town.

Yulo said the Napolcom order proved that the charges were “trumped-up.”

“I am thankful, now it is clear to everybody that what the policemen charged us are baseless; we were just framed up,” Yulo said.*
