Dog mourns loss of ‘buddy policeman’

A dog adopted by the police also joined in mourning the loss of his “buddy” P/Cpl Joebert Diasanta, who was killed after being trapped inside the burning house of his parents on Christmas Day, in Brgy. San Fernando, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.

In a Facebook post of the PCR (Police Community Relations) of Silay City Police Station (PCS) it said that their adopted dog “shares his grief for the loss of one his best friends in the PNP.

Diasanta is a member of the Silay City Police Station.

PLt. Col. Robert Petate, Silay City police chief, described Diasanta as a dedicated police officer.

The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office led by P/Cpl. Romy Palgue as well as the Officer’s Ladies Club and the Police Regional Office 6 extended financial assistance to the family of Diasanta.*
