Assistant Bacolod District Engineer Leah Jamero is serving as officer-in-charge of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Bacolod City District Engineering Office effective November 21, following the retirement of District Engr. Abraham Villareal.
Jamero informed the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Bacolod City during its regular session Wednesday, of her assumption of duties and responsibilities as district engineer of the city.
The DPWH-Bacolod also submitted to the SP its accomplishment report on the status of infrastructure projects for the month of September, as well as the status of physical accomplishments of ongoing/completed projects which it has implemented as of October.
Jamero said that among her duties and responsibilities is the continuation of ongoing projects such as maintenance work on roads and bridges, flood control program, and implementation of roadway and solar lighting facilities along the Bacolod Negros Occidental Economic Highway.*
