A man’s body found floating along the shore at Purok Tangigue, Barangay 1, Bacolod City, Sunday afternoon has been identified by police investigators as Sebastian Delos Santos Jr., 50, and a resident of the same place where the body was discovered.
He was said to be on a drinking spree with his friends earlier that day and apparently decided to cool down on the nearby shore which may have caused the drowning. An initial police report said the station received information that a man was found unconscious and floating on the seashore.
The victim was immediately brought to the nearest hospital for immediate medical attention. However, the physician on duty declared the man died due to drowning.*
