More than P2M worth of suspected shabu were confiscated by the police from two arrested drug suspects on July 14, in separate buy bust operations in Bago City and highly-urbanized Bacolod City.
PLt. Judesses Catalogo, spokesperson of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office, said that about 275 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P1.8 million were recovered by the police during a buy-bust operation at Matti Street in Brgy. Poblacion, Bago City.
Nabbed was Rex Quilong, alias Pedik, 42, of Brgy. 35, Bacolod City.
The apprehension of Quilong also yielded a .45 caliber pistol with a magazine containing five ammunition, marked money of P500, a digital weighing scale, and P2,533 in cash, not including the suspected shabu.
Another buy bust operation at Purok Zone 7 in Brgy. Handumanan, Bacolod City also led to the seizure of an estimated 28 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P190,4000, marked money of P1,000 and P400 in cash.*
