Police recovered about P357,000 worth of suspected shabu from two arrested drug suspects on November 15 and 16, respectively, in Negros Occidental.
Lyna Mabunay, alias Love, was arrested yesterday by the police City Drug Enforcement Unit during a buy bust operation at Purol Ylac in Brgy. 1, Bacolod City.
The arrest Mabunay, categorized by the police as a High Value Individual in illegal drug operations, yielded about 51 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P346,800, P2,000 in marked money, as well as P500 in cash believed to be proceeds from sale of illegal drugs.
A day earlier, policemen also apprehended Elmer Romano Jr, alias Tintoy, for violation of RA 9165, known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002, in Brgy. Zone 14A, Talisay City.
The arrest of Romano yielded about 1.5 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P10,200, P500 in marked money and P280 in cash.
Both suspects are now locked up in police custodial facilities.*
