Drug arrests yield P377K in shabu

The arrest of four drug suspects in separate buy-bust operations on April 16 and 17 in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, yielded more than P377,000 worth of suspected shabu, disclosed yesterday by deputy spokesperson PLt. Liberty Indiape.

Indiape reported that the arrest of Rey Derla by operatives of the Police Station 9 at Purok San Miguel, Brgy. Sum-ag in Bacolod City, yesterday yielded 2.4 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P24,000 and P500 in marked money.

An estimated 20 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P136,000 and P500 in marked money were also recovered by Police Station 8 personnel from Remar Mosqueda in another buy-bust operation on April 16 at Henrietta Village, Brgy Singcang Airport, Bacolod City.

Two other drug suspects identified by the police as William Cabiles and Darwin Sibugan were also apprehended by operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Unit at Purok Matahum in Brgy. Tangub, Bacolod City, also on Saturday.

Indiape said that the arrest of two drug suspects yielded about 32 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P217,600, a weighing scale and P1,000 in marked money.*
