Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency dismantled a suspected drug den in Purok Sigay, Brgy. 2, Bacolod City, at about 2 p.m. Sunday.

The operation also led to the arrest of Analyn Nacionales, alias “An-an,” who is the alleged drug den maintainer, Alice Tanghal, Jackielou Marañanon, Mariane Javelosa, Peter Nacionales, Jurey Gersaba, Jomar Arocan, and Ryo Tayag, all of Bacolod, the PDEA said.

Several sachets of suspected shabu, weighing about 12 grams and worth P81,600, improvised glass tooters, disposable lighters, assorted cell phones, scissors, and buy-bust money, among others, were seized during the operation.

Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared for filing against the suspects.*
