Policemen and operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency have dismantled a suspected drug den, as a result of a buy-bust operation on December 6 in Brgy. 5, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, that also resulted to the arrest of five drug suspects.

Nabbed by the police and PDEA were Noel Bonghanoy and Arman Canete, both 29 years old, Raul Caruscay, 40; Mavin Magbolugtong, 33; and Remegio Alob 19, all residents of San Carlos City.

The arrest of drug suspects also yielded about 15 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P102,000, a cellular phone, and P500 in marked money, police said.

A drug suspect identified as Ronaldo Ybanez was also arrested on December 6 at the public market of Bago City in Negros Occidental, for violation of RA 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Drug Act of 2002.

The arrest of Ybanez during a buy-bust operation yielded 0.9 gram of suspected shabu, with a market value of 6,120, marked money of P500 and P172 in cash.*
