Combined operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and police dismantled a suspected drug den on Tuesday in Barangay 16, Bacolod City, leading to the arrest of four drug suspects.
Backed up by troopers of the PNP Special Action Force, PDEA operatives seized about 31 grams of suspected shabu valued at P108,000, assorted drug paraphernalia, P500 in marked money, and P812 in cash.
Also nabbed were alias Roger, 56, the alleged drug den maintainer; Donessa, 40; Larry, 48; and Carlo, 27.
The suspects face charges for violation of RA 9165, including drug sale, possession, and maintaining a drug den.
Meanwhile, the arrest of a 35-year-old laborer by the police on Wednesday at Purok Calera in Barangay Miranda, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental, yielded about P102,000 worth of suspected shabu.
Policemen also seized P13,600 worth of suspected shabu from a certain Pluto, who was arrested during a buy bust operation also on Wednesday at Barangay II Poblacion, in La Carlota City.*
