An Agri-Trade Fair was officially opened at the new public market on Sunday, as part of the week-long celebration of the 42nd Founding Anniversary and 32nd Kali-Kalihan Harvest Festival in Don Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental, on February 2 to 9.
Don Salvador Benedicto Mayor Laurence Marxlen dela Cruz and Vice Mayor Nehemiah Joe dela Cruz, led the ribbon-cutting, together with Albert Barogo, Department of Agriculture-Negros Island Region (NIR) regional executive director.
Locally produced farm products from different barangays are displayed at the trade fair.*
