
The Regional Convergence Committee (RCC) and the Regional Independent Monitoring Committee (RIMC) of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) conducted a joint field visit at the Municipality of Calatrava, Negros Occidental on October 24-27.
As part of its 3-day field visit, the DSWD Region 6 invited the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Negros Occidental to its Indigenous Peoples (IPs) Information / Service Caravan at Brgy. Dolis, Calatrava on October 26.
Representatives from the PSA – Negros Occidental were present during the event, headed by John Campomanes, Officer-in-Charge of the agency.
Aira Camille de la Banda, Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Focal Person of PSA – Negros Occidental, presented all the different services of the agency, highlighting on PhilSys Step 2 Registration which was offered by the local PhilSys Registration Team during the caravan.
PhilSys Birth Registration Assistance Project (PBRAP) Agent, Alfie Aposaga, was also present during the event to assist the Local Civil Registrar’s Office in providing civil registration services to the beneficiaries.
The caravan ended with a gift-giving ceremony for the children present during the program.
The PSA – Negros Occidental extended its gratitude to the DSWD Region 6 for the opportunity to join the event and looks forward to more fruitful partnerships with the DSWD Region 6 in the future.*
