The Department of Social Welfare and Development yesterday distributed P5,130,000 in financial assistance of 342 beneficiaries in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, as facilitated by First District Rep. Gerardo Valmayor Jr.
According to a statement, the financial assistance to identified beneficiaries in San Carlos City, Toboso and Calatrava, will be used for their livelihood projects to augment their income.
The DSWD earmarked P15 million in financial assistance to 1,000 beneficiaries in the three local government units.
The distribution of assistance in Brgy. 3 poblacion covered court in San Carlos City, was led by Valmayor, assisted by DSWD workers.*
