Fifty-seven families, victims of Typhoon Paeng, received financial assistance from the municipal government of EB Magalona in Negros Occidental, on December 7.
Ten families whose houses were destroyed by the typhoon, got P5,000, while P2,500 was given to 47 families whose residences were partially destroyed.
The 57 families also received housing materials from the municipal government last month.
Mayor Marvin Malacon led the distribution of cash assistance to the 57 affected families at the EB Magalona municipal plaza covered court.*
