Senior Fire Officer 2 Marc Stephen Trajeras is the new acting fire marshal of the Bureau of Fire and Protection in EB Magalona, Negros Occidental.
Trajeras, a resident of EB Magalona, succeeded SFO3 Divino Sibay, who was assigned to Bacolod City Fire Station.
EB Magalona mayor Marvin Malacon assured Trajeras of the full support of the Mayor’s Office to the Municipal Fire Station.
He also reminded the Municipal Fire Station personnel to always remember their mandate of “saving lives and properties” from fire.
Malacon also underscored the importance of close coordination of the Municipal Fire Station with the rest of the offices of the Municipal Government, as well as residents of the municipality, to ensure that fire safety measures are always being observed in order to prevent destructive fire in the locality.
Prior to his post in E. B. Magalona, Trajeras briefly served as deputy fire marshal of Manapla town from May to June this year.
From 2018 to April 2023, he was assigned at the Bacolod City Fire Station, serving as sub-station supervisor and later as chief of operations.
Trajeras also served as fire safety inspector and fire and arson investigator of the Quezon City Fire District in 2018.*
