Mayor Marvin Malacon yesterday congratulated the E. B. Magalona Dance Community for bagging the championship trophy at the Pop Dance Competition of the 27th Panaad sa Negros Festival on April 22 at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Bacolod City.
The dance group, who represented E. B. Magalona at the Pop Dance Competition, won P40,000 in cash for the top prize.
The 15- dance team, with members composed of Cheryl Dimson, Christian Soluta, Cy Cyrua Almonte, Jeffrey Dorado, Jim Barilla, John Rey, Johnz Teruel, Lander Asher Lagura, Leonil Arriola, Loki Villones, Lynniel May Belleza, Natasha Deriada, Nicole Guimeroy, Vincent Soluta, and Sophia Dimson.
Serving as choreographers were Dylan Gargarita, Gian Michael Boyero, and Dran Leo, with Edward Dojello as the organizer, a statement from the EB Magalona Public Information Office said.*
