“The celebration of Eid Al-Adha is a reminder to everyone of the meaning of sacrifice, faith and kindness – things which are important in our everyday life as a people,” Vice President Sara Duterte said in her message yesterday.
The spirit of Eid al-Adha will serve as a reminder of courage, sharing, and sacrifice to our fellowmen – traits that are important in these times, she said.
“Everything that we do is for God, country and the Filipino family,” Duterte added.
The Vice President returned to the Philippines on Thursday, arriving at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) at about 7:40 pm.
Her arrival follows her recent visits to the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, from May 26 to June 4.*
