Bacolod Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran will be the acting mayor of Bacolod City from December 19 to January 19, 2025.
Familiaran has been designated as acting mayor of Bacolod City by Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez for a month in Memorandum No. 266, in view of the latter’s travel abroad.
Meanwhile, the Bacolod Sangguniang Panlungsod recently passed on third and final reading the 2025 General Fund Budget amounting to P4.4 billion.
The 2025 annual budget is P800 million higher than the 2024 budget of P3.6 billion.*
