Central Negros Electric Cooperative is reminding candidates and their supporters not to post campaign materials on electric poles.
The power utility firm posted the reminder on its social media page as the May 2022 election approaches.
It cited Section 7 of Commission on Elections Resolution No. 10488 which provides that it is unlawful to post, display or exhibit any election campaign or propaganda material outside of authorized common poster areas, in public places, or private properties without the consent of the owner.*
