Beejay Paredes grabbed the player of the game honors, scored a game high 26 points and gave his team its first win of the 2nd Fil-Sino Bacolod Truckers Basketball Cup as Energizer won over Gold Partner Truck, 62-53.
Energizer started out strong in the first quarter, with Beejay leading the team with 10 points, 18-14. The Golds shone in the second quarter, outscoring the opposing team 26-15 and taking the lead going into the break, 40-33.
However, the newly charged batteries outshone their rivals in the last two quarters, holding them to single digit points in both quarters. Gold Partner Truck absorbed its second consecutive loss, where Ervin Tan scored 20 points.
In the other game, Superway defeated Varta 60-57, Rydanz beat Jumbo 87-86, and Ceat Tires outlasted Duramaxx Pro Battery 90-65.*GBM
