Bacolod Rep. Greg Gasataya said yesterday he has requested the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. to expedite the settlement of the P41,746,068 interim reimbursement mechanism (IRM) for Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital.
With the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the city, Gasataya said CLMMRH needs the funds before its own resources are depleted.
A memorandum of agreement between CLMMRH and PhilHealth has been signed regarding the matter, Gasataya said.
He said that as early as March, CLMMRH had informed PhilHealth that it wants to avail of the program.
If it runs out of funds, the operation of the hospital will be affected, Gasataya said.*
