Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson designated Vice Gov. Jeffrey Ferrer as the acting governor of Negros Occidental from August 7 to 9, while he is Hongkong on a leave of absence, for personal reasons.
In Executive Order No. 24-29, Series of 2024, Lacson also designated Board Member Manuel Frederick Ko as the acting vice governor for the duration of his travel, or until his return, whichever is earlier.
This is to ensure the continuous and effective delivery of basic and social services, he added.*
