In preparation for the 23rd Minuluan Festival this coming September 10, Talisay City Mayor Neil Lizares, through the festival committee, invited all interested choreographers and lead drumbeaters all over Negros Island, school heads, punong barangays, barangay treasurers and SK chairpersons to join in the Minuluan Festival Dance Enhancement Workshop.
The workshop will be held on July 23 to 24 at the Dela Rama Hall of the New Talisay City Hall, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Each choreographer is requested to bring at least five dancers and each lead drumbeater may bring at least five drumbeaters.

Meanwhile, Mayor Lizares thanked the Temasek Foundation of Singapore, through Filinvest Land Inc., for the 40,000 (40 boxes) KN 95 facemasks donated to the city.
The facemasks were then turned over to the city by Filinvest Branch Manager Neil Brian Serantes and Filinvest Permits Manager Atty. Clifford Caballero and received by City Administrator Atty. Jonathan Ealdama, Asst. City Administrator Ismael Penado, and City Legal Officer Atty. Kirk Andrew Magnabe, on July 20 at the City Mayor’s Office.*
