Acacia Hotel at the Bacolod Reclamation Area in Bacolod City is officially opening its luxurious fine-dining restaurant, which specializes in authentic Cantonese cuisine, today on Valentine’s Day.
Luk Foo Palace in Bacolod is the third branch of Acacia Hotels, aside from its branches in Manila and Davao.
Acacia Hotels president Cherry Maddela said they have decided to expand to Bacolod because of the big Chinese community in the city. Their opening has also provided job opportunities to residents of Bacolod City and Negros Occidental.
Maddela said the restaurant is open from Mondays to Sundays, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Among their best-sellers are the peking duck, steamed lapu-lapu-dimsum, sweet and sour pork, aside from a variety of meticulously crafted dishes prepared by their chefs, she said.
Luk Foo Palace is managed by its dining supervisor Cheryl Lim.*
