About P3.6 million worth of properties were damaged during two recent separate fire incidents in Bacolod City.

A fire damaged a business establishment at JL Bldg., Luzuriaga Street, Brgy. 37, Bacolod City, Monday morning.

The Bureau of Fire Protection reported that the damage caused by the fire to Ceclara TJ Sugar was valued at about P5,000.

No injuries were reported during the incident.

Meanwhile, a two-story house in Punta Taytay Road, Brgy. Punta Taytay, was razed by fire last Sunday.

The damage caused by the fire to the house owned by Shirley Lim was estimated at about P3,600,000.

Lim, 80, sustained minor burns on both her left and right hands and arms, as well as  her back, the BFP reported.*
