Bacolod City will soon welcome the first Singapore International School in the entire Negros Island Region and Western Visayas.
Singapore School Philippines, one of only two institutions in the country offering the world- renowned Singaporean curriculum, and property giant Megaworld, have entered into a strategic partnership for the establishment of Singapore School Bacolod in Northill Gateway—the company’s 53-hectare township located along the Bacolod-Silay Airport Access Road.
The new campus will offer a comprehensive educational pathway, including the Singaporean curriculum for Preschool, Primary, and Lower Secondary levels, as well as globally recognized university qualifications, such as the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) for Upper Secondary and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) for Pre-University.
Singapore School Philippines currently operates campuses in Manila, Clark in Pampanga, Silang in Cavite, and Cebu, bringing decades of expertise in delivering internationally benchmarked education programs.
The Bacolod campus marks its first expansion in the Negros Island Region and in Western Visayas, reinforcing its commitment to making world-class education accessible to more Filipino families.
“Northill Gateway offers excellent infrastructure that supports the learning and community- building environment we envision. It is fitting that Singapore School pupils grow in a modern, holistic environment that sparks innovation, practices sustainability, and fosters a lifestyle of art, slow food, and movement.
By finding a home in this Megaworld township, the school can play its part in responding to the growing need for quality, relevant international education: nurturing global citizens who think critically, act compassionately, and help shape a better Philippines and world,” according to Trixie Suarez, president of Singapore School Bacolod.*
