The Negrense Artists Circle, Inc., opened a group art exhibit titled “Fleur De Vie” on May 18 at McCafe, McDonalds Upper East, Bacolod City.
“Fluer De Vie” or flower of life, is an exhibit with an advocacy, in partnership with McDonalds.
The show is the second for the month of May, in a series of exhibits by the group, with various Saturday fun day activities, such face painting and games with prizes and workshop for kids.

Upcycling activities using plastic materials such as cups, spoons and forks turned into art pieces like flowers and other garden accents were headed by visual artists Doreen Dofitas, Princy Martir, Sherryanne Quivis, Patti Bendanillo, Olive Torres, Psyche Amor Distor, and Jeff Vallente.
“We advocate upcycling to the young, instilling in them how to reduce what goes into the landfills, celebrating artisanal works and old school craftsmanship, and doing our bit to save Mother Nature,” Sandy Solinap, curator and event organizer said.
The group art exhibition will run until May 31.*
