The Negrenses Artists Circle, Inc. (NACI) in partnership with Megaworld and McDonald’s The Upper East, Bacolod City opened a group exhibition on May 8, celebrating mothers with flowers in the month of May.

Titled “Floralismo”, the show features the works of Alden Macazar, Angela Mae Patrata, Christopher Fernandez, Doreen Dofitas, Jerrylyn Mangao, Joey Cabiles, Olive Torres, Patty Ong, Roanna Ruperto, She Quivis, and Ma. Theresa Perez.

“Floralismo” (often translated as Floralismo or Floral art) refers to the art, technique, or movement of using plants and flowers to create balanced, eye-catching compositions.

Mother’s Day is celebrated in the month of May in honor of the mother of the family or individual, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society.*
