A group art exhibition titled “For Cat’s Sake” was held at the Club House of Buena Royale Subdivision in Barangay Estefania, Bacolod City on February 23, as an advance celebration of the 92nd birth anniversary of the late Atty. George Gallos.
The birth anniversary of Gallos, a member of the Negros Occidental High School Batch 1952 and a Golden Jubilarian when the school celebrated its Centennial Year in April 2002, was last February 27.
The show, organized by Mar Engo, an animal welfare advocate and the eldest daughter of Gallos, featured the artworks of CANVAS president Pastor Daniel Bayles, his wife and guest of honor Jasper Bayles, Babayi art group founder Miriam Bayles, and members of CANVAS namely, Elijah and Karen Bayles, Tina de Jose, Chin Guanzon, Rhea and Juliet Emperado.*
