Former Kabankalan police chief is designated Antique police director

PCol. Lea Rose Peña, former police chief of Kabankalan City in Negros Occidental, is the new officer-in-charge of the Antique Police Provincial Office.

Peña replaced PCol. Rogelio Abran during a turnover of command rites held on February 22 at Camp Martin Delgado in Iloilo City, which was presided over by PBrig. Gen. Jack Wanky, acting regional police director of Western Visayas.

Prior to her new assignment, Peña served as head of the Regional Learning and Doctrine Development Division of Police Regional Office 6.

On the same day, PCol. Rainerio De Chavez also took over the command of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office.

De Chavez, who was previously assigned at the PNP Directorate for Intelligence, replaced PCol. Leo Pamittan.

Regional police spokesperson PMaj. Socorro Grace Borio said that Abran and Pamittan will be temporarily assigned at the PRO 6 headquarters, pending announcement of their new assignments.*
