CM & Sons Food Products Inc. recently unveiled its latest innovation, the Iron Rice Plus. The much anticipated grand launch was attended by government and business leaders, the banking sector, renowned bloggers and media personalities of Negros Occidental.
Welcoming the guests that day was CM and Sons President Jonathan and Liza Lo and Negros Grace Pharmacy’s Ian Lo. Attending the event in full force were JLo’s Ocean Seven group headed by couple extraordinaire, Charles and Ginette Yanson-Dumancas. Also seen during the event were Bacolod City councilors and Bacolod Representative Greg Gasataya. Hosting the event was multi-awarded Negrense Kurt Soberano.
The event kicked off with the energetic dance moves of the world-famous MassKara dancers, while Bacolod Councilor Thaddy Sayson gave a welcome message to all guests present. A short video presentation showed information of the Iron Fortified Rice being a pioneering endeavor by the Lo family being aimed at addressing malnutrition and iron deficiency anemia.
DOST FNRI Officer Alexis Ortiz was the first keynote speaker, while DOST FNRI Director Imelda Agdeppa gave her inspirational message. Atty Kristin Elaine Sindac of DEPED read the message of ASec. Dexter Galvan being the keynote speaker, while Magdalene Cariaga, DepEd Senior Education Program Specialist read the message of Dr. Maria Corazon Dumlao being another keynote speaker.
That morning, 8 units of Mi Smartwatch Bands were given to lucky guests, while 3 lucky guests won the Redmi Smartphone and one lucky guest won 1 unit of Xiaomi Tablet.
