Four more drug suspects were arrested on Wednesday in Negros Occidental, that also yielded P43,000 worth of suspected shabu.

Policemen seized about five grams of suspected shabu, with a market value of P34,000, during a buy-bust operation on July 15 in Brgy. Talagacay, Hinobaan, Negros Occidental.

Nabbed during the buy-bust operation was Sammy Lingao-lingao, a 41-year-old driver.

Investigation by the Hinobaan police showed that Lingao-lingao has a pending arrest warrant for violation of PD 1602 issued by Judge Mary Ann Charisma Gutierrez-Ko, who also recommended P30,000 bail for him.

The apprehension of the drug suspect yielded P500 in marked money and P220 in cash.

On the same day, three other drug suspects identified as Glen Paulite, Margie Cordova and Archie Kim Demigillo were also arrested by the police in another buy-bust operation at Rizal Street in Brgy. Poblacion, Pontevedra.

The apprehension of the three drug suspects yielded six sachets of suspected shabu, with a market value of P9,000, P1,800 in cash believed to be proceeds from sale of illegal drugs, three cellular phones, and two motorcycles.*
