The Bacolod City Health Office will be providing free flu vaccination at the third floor, Northwing of SM City Bacolod from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. today and tomorrow.
Flu vaccines are available for those who are 18 years old and above, while minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Bacolod City Health Officer Dr. Ma. Carmela Gensoli said they will minister free flu vaccines to 1,000 individuals today and another 1,000 to those who want to avail of it tomorrow.
The CHO also conducted free flu and pneumonia vaccinations earlier at Ayala Malls Capitol Central and Robinsons Place Bacolod. But due to the overwhelming response of the public, they increased their target from 500 individuals a day to 1,000.
Gensoli said those who cannot avail of the mall vaccination may proceed to their barangay health centers which have also been allocated vaccines by the Department of Health.*
