A total of 290 Saraviahanons yesterday availed of free haircut services from the barber-members of Tumandok Barberos, at the covered court public plaza of EB Magalona in Negros Occidental.
Joeffrey Junsay, president of Tumandok Barberos, said the free haircut is one of their community services in celebration of their 3rd anniversary.
Junsay, a resident of Barangay 3 (Poblacion), said that of the 290 beneficiaries of free haircuts, 227 are males and 63 are females, with ages ranging from 5 to 65 years old.
Tumandok Barberos has 25 Saraviahanon members, 23 of whom served in yesterday’s haircut services.
They have been offering one day of free haircut services for Saraviahanons every year since 2021.
Mayor Marvin Malacon sponsored the equipment and supplies used in the haircut services, while Kagawad Matthew Louis Malacon, president of Barangay Kagawad Association of Saravia (BAKAS), sponsored the lunch of the 23 barbers.*
