Park Inn by Radisson Bacolod will be conducting a series of fund raising activities this Yuletide season, with proceeds directly going to supporting rehabilitation and community aid through its partner, the Philippine Air Force, said Sherwin Lucas, Park Inn by Radisson area manager, during the hotel’s “Hope for Christmas” tree-lighting ceremony on November 21.

Lucas said “This Christmas tree is not a mere display; it is a beacon of commitment to our shared recovery. The true spirit of Christmas is the eternal miracle of hope arriving in a world full of pain, gently reminding every single person that they are not forgotten. Just as the Baby Jesus brought divine light and salvation into a dark world, this modest light we ignite tonight signifies that even amidst the challenges left by the typhoon, a greater promise remains.”

Lucas is inviting the public to join them in supporting their initiatives:

Pledge of Hope: Guests can pledge any amount of support. They can then receive a paper ornament to write messages of encouragement and hang it directly on the Christmas tree.

Art with a Heart: Generous Art Cove artists and their friends have donated beautiful artworks for auction, with sales going towards our community aid fund.

Gifts of Hope: The hotel will serve as a designated drop-off point for anyone who wishes to donate wrapped gifts for children. These will be collected and distributed on December 17th, ensuring that the joy and meaning of Christmas continue to resonate to our children, even in the midst of devastation.*
