The Negros Occidental Garden Club (NOGC) recently conducted a feeding activity at Dawis in Barangay 14, Bacolod City.
About 150 children from the barangay received nutritious bread, a cup of arroz caldo with egg and chicken, fruit juice, and chocolate candies, distributed by NOGC officers, Board of Directors, and club members, led by their president Pacita Adeva and feeding program chairman/club treasurer Elizabeth Woodhouse.
NOGC officers thanked Barangay Captain John Magno and the officers and staff of Brgy. 14, as well as former barangay captain Tito Abonado, his wife Ellen and their two children, for helping prepare the arroz caldo, including those who extended assistance to make the activity a success.
Other officers of the NOGC are first vice president Lope Napao, 2nd VP Elena Peronilla, secretary Teresita Gonzales, 1st assistant secretary Rebecca Zepeda, 2nd assistant secretary Sally Germinal, 1st assistant treasurer Aurelio Parohinog, 2nd assistant treasurer Betty Jarder, auditor Yolanda Vidad, PIO Lucille Vasquez, immediate past president Nenita Estrella, and members of the Board of Director Grace Corteza, Pamela Hoeveils, and Ernesto Nebit.*
