Twelve drug suspects, including a local government employee, are now locked up in jail, following their arrests on December 8 and 9 in separate buy bust operations in Negros Occidental, which also yielded firearms and an estimated P200,000 worth of illegal drugs.
Eight individuals, including a local government unit casual employee and two tricycle drivers, whose identities were withheld by the police, were apprehended by the police during a buy bust operation at Hacienda Adriana in Brgy. E Lopez, Silay City.
Their arrests yielded an estimated eight grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P54,400, marked money of P3,200, and assorted shabu paraphernalia.
Two other drug suspects identified by the police as William Dingcong and Sonio Santillan were nabbed by the police in another buy bust operation on Dec. 8 at Pueblo Subdivision, Barangay Daga, Cadiz City.
The apprehension of Dingcong and Santillan, both categorized by the police as Street Level Individual drug suspects, yielded an estimated eight grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P54,400, a caliber .38 revolver with four ammunition, and marked money of P500.
The police also reported on Dec. 8 the apprehension of three other drug personalities in the cities of Talisay and Victorias, as well as in Candoni town, that also yielded two caliber .38 revolvers with ammunition and P80,000 worth of suspected shabu.*
