The arrest of a government worker and four other drug suspects on December 15 in Negros Occidental yielded P890,800 worth of illegal drugs, according to the Philippine National Police.
Two of the five drug suspects were arrested Sunday, during a buy bust operation at Purok Tilapia in Barangay 3, Bacolod City.
Their arrests yielded 117 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P795,000, as reported by the Bacolod City Police Drug Enforcement Unit.
A buy bust operation also on Sunday in Barangay Tinampa-an, Cadiz City, led to the arrest of alias Jing, a 44-year-old government employee, and the recovery of an estimated two grams of suspected shabu, worth P13,600.
Another similar police operation also resulted to the arrest of two more drug suspects, including a fishpond caretaker and a minor at Sitio Dap-dap in Barangay Lantad, Silay City.
The Silay police also recovered more or less 12 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P81,600.*
