VMA Global College and Training Centers Inc. recently hosted a graduation ball titled “Limitless! Dreamed to Achieve, Strive to Succeed beyond Limits”, for its 2023 graduates at L’Fisher Hotel in Bacolod City.
The event honored a total of 514 graduates from both maritime and non-maritime courses, with the male attendees dressed in white formal attire and the female attendees adorned in elegant black gowns, a press release from VMA said.
Remedios Johanna Vargas, vice president for academic affairs, was accompanied by 2/M Gilbert Juesna, dean for Maritime Studies; Edwin Benitez, dean for the College of Hospitality and Business Management; Rene Alcala, head of Student Affairs Services, and Aldriane Sanchez, SSG adviser.
Vargas greeted the honorees and guests with a warm welcome, expressing her sense of pride and offering sincere wishes for a wonderful and memorable evening that would be remembered by all.
While Juesna and Benitez praised Batch 2023 for their dedication and efforts in overcoming challenges to complete their college education.
Sergio Quivis III and Cristine Joy Baylon, SSG president and vice president, respectively, expressed their gratitude to the graduating class. SAS head Rene Alcala led the honorees and guests in a toast for everyone’s success. While having dinner provided by Wild and Fresh, they were entertained by student performances, including serenades and cotillion dances, as well as lively dance moves from the faculty and staff.
The evening was hosted by MJ Alonsagay, and the dance floor stayed lively all night with DJs providing the music.*
