A group art exhibition dubbed “Arts in Diverse Expressions,” opened yesterday at STI West Negros University, in line with its Arts Week celebration from May 20 to 23.
The event aims to showcase different talents and cultural expressions from visual to performing arts, and was attended by artists in the Bacolod City art scene along with student-artists of STI WNU.
Other activities included creative expressions like dancing, singing, acting, and other cultural performances.
Kristine Alonso, art exhibit organizer, emphasized the value of collaborating with schools to improve awareness and introducing to students the value and impact of the Arts.

The event was granted by SBE Principal Ginalyn Pineda, SHS Assistant Principal Michelle Espigol, and Chairman Arnel Jay Velas, under the School of Basic Education and STI Senior High School.
Resource speaker was Negrense artist Susanito Sanate.
The participating artists are Roanna Ruperto, Rhea Joy Bello, Darryl Villanueva, Michael Jerkme Baylon, Jeromy Tiolo, Fritz John Esclamad, Khate Baldelovar, James Christian Torillo, Dilsa Mae Pasquin, Japhet Uyco, Carlo John Estampa, Mel John Cahilig, Ramon Caesar Alonso Marie Joy Resurreccion, Patty Jane Ong, Gil John Cadivida, and Leo Carton.*
