Group exhibit opens with 70’s-themed artists

Members of the Artisticrew opened their year-end group exhibition during their 70’s-themed costume party at the Maya Artspace of Tippy’s Bistro along 10th-Lacson streets, Bacolod City on December 14.

The show that will run until the end of December features the works of Negrense visual artists Doreen Dofitas, Jerrylyn Mangao, Julius Añasca, Joey Cabiles, Michael Leoncio, Olive Torres, Ronan De los Santos, Sherryann Quivis, Sherwynn Cadianza, Stephanie Villanueva, Ma. Theresa Perez, Venus Montejo, and Wara Ichi.

Dofitas was awarded Best in Costume, female category, while Cabiles won in the male category during a program. Dr. Allen “Doc Chummy” Jamito, meanwhile, won the Tippy’s Choice Award.

Certificates of appreciation were also given out to Tippy’s co-owner Terence Dacles, Chrysee Samillano, and Sherwynn Cadianza for the support they have extended to the group.*
