Various artworks of 20 Negrense artists are currently on exhibit at the Gugma Arthub and Coffee Shop at Hernaez Avenue, Brgy. Mansilingan, Bacolod City from December 21 to January 15, 2022.

Titled “Gugma” or love, the show was organized by the Environment Group of Artists in partnership with Grace Pharmacy.

Jeck Alano, organizer of the show, said “GUGMA” is a symbol of love and of sharing.  It also symbolizes the unity of Negrense visual artists in the midst of tragedies and the crisis brought about by the pandemic.

“Using different media, the artists have expressed through their artworks their optimism that we will be able to overcome anything we face in life if we are united in love,” he added.

The show features the works of Marcelo “Jecky” Alano, Jeffrey Montaño, Marlon Buco Domino, Robert De Arro, Zedrix De Arro, Ramon Delos Santos, Tina De Jose, Rolando Inso, Ritchie Cuesta, Ningnong Acedera, Zaldy Sendon, Agustin Chavez, Gabriel Mendoza Gucabon, Ryan Palmos, Konica Faustino, Jehru Elisan, Chrysee Samillano, Leo Carton, Steve Maquiling and Jeck Alano.*
