A resolution congratulating and commending Adnan Nillos Balisi from the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) for giving pride and honor to Bacolod City by being declared by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) as one of the top 10 examiners during the August 2023 Philippine Guidance and Counseling Licensure Examination, was approved by the Bacolod Sangguniang Panlungsod Wednesday.
The resolution authored by Councilor Israel Salanga said the Guidance Counselor board exam was conducted on August 16 to 17 at testing centers at NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Ooro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Koronadal, Lucena, Rosales, and Palawan.
The results of the top 10 passers in the August 2023 Guidance Counselor Licensure Examination (GCLE) was released by the PRC Board of Guidance and Counselling only two working days after the administration of the said exam, it said.
The resolution said Adnan Nillos Balisi, a graduate of UNO-R was declared as one of the top 10 examinees of the PRC with a rating of 87.6 percent.
Balisi, who was then a graduate of Riverside College, was also declared as top three examinee during the August 2019 Physical Therapist Licensure Examination with a rating of 86.85 percent, it said.
The feat accomplished by Balisi gives pride and honor to the people of Bacolod City and serves as an inspiration to those who want to follow his footsteps in the future, the resolution added.*
