Guns and drugs worth P107,900 were seized by the Bacolod police on Monday from two persons, including the half-sister of slain drug lord Ramy Poja.
Police officers of Station 2 arrested Kris Poja, 31, while her live-in partner, whose name was not disclosed, escaped during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Estefania, Bacolod, at about 7:45 p.m. Monday, P/Maj. Sherlock Gabana, the station commander, said yesterday.
Recovered from Poja were seven plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing 9 grams with a market value of P61,200, and drug paraphernalia, the police said.
Aside from the illegal drugs, the operatives also seized an M3 9mm caliber grease gun with two magazines, a .9mm caliber pistol with three magazines, tear gas, two holen guns, 60 live ammunition of a .9mm, two brass knuckles, and two cellular phones, police records show.
