Police seized three firearms and P231,000 worth of suspected shabu in a series of buy bust operations on March 24 in Negros Occidental.
The apprehension of alias Bartoloy, 37, at Sitio Canipa-an in Barangay Banquerohan, Cadiz City, led to the confiscation of three firearms, including a Smith and Wesson caliber .38 revolver, a caliber .22 revolver, a Smith and Wesson caliber .357 Magnum revolver, and eight ammunition, as well as an estimated 12 grams of suspected shabu valued at P81,600.
Another buy bust operation also resulted in the arrest of an alias JM at Rizal Street in Barangay Mambulac, Silay City, which yielded more or less seven grams of suspected shabu valued at P47,600.
Suspected dried marijuana leaves with a market value of P2,250, were recovered by the police from alias Dar during a bust operation at Hacienda La Consolacion in Barangay XII, Victorias City.*
