The Agriculture Office of the Municipality of Hinigaran awarded the winners of its 32nd Agro-Industrial Fair and Cultural showcase at the Hinigaran public plaza last week.
Out of the 24 barangays that displayed their booths, Barangay Candumarao was awarded first place and received P30,000 in cash prize. Barangay Narauis won second place and received P20,000 in cash prize. Barangay Gargato won third place and received P10,000 in cash.
All non-winning entries received P5,000 each in cash prize. All prizes were sponsored by the City Mayor’s Office.
Hinigaran Mayor Nadie Arceo, through his office, also provided a subsidy of 30,000 in cash for each participating barangay.*
